Ashes To Honey
ミツバチの羽音と地球の回転
Nippon Visions ½
In ASHES TO HONEY, the director shows the possibilities and future prospects of using renewable energy sources, which have long been widespread in countries like Sweden. The inhabitants of a village on a small island in Japan, 30 km as the crow flies from a nuclear power plant, describe their problems caused by the proximity to the plant. This is contrasted with a village in Sweden that is almost self-sufficient with renewable energy. Afterwards there will be a discussion with Hitomi KAMANAKA and Prof. Dr. Lisette Gebhardt from the Japanology Department of the University of Frankfurt.
