About Shogo KUSANO
草野翔吾

Shogo Kusano was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1984. While studying Sociology at Waseda University, he made his first feature film, MOGERA WOGURA (2009). After the success of his second, independently produced film EMPTY (2012), he made the manga adaptation BITTERSWEET (2016). In addition to his fictional films, many of which are coming-of-age stories, he also regularly produces music videos and television dramas.
