About Rin SHUTO
首藤凜

Rin SHUTO, born in Tokyo in 1995, made her first films while studying at Waseda University. In 2016, her short film MATA ISSHONI NEYO NE was awarded at the PIA Film Festival. Since 2018, she has been working at TV Man Union as an assistant director for documentaries. Her feature-length debut PLEASE DON’T GO ANYWHERE (2017) received several awards at MOOSIC LAB 2017. UNLOCK YOUR HEART (2021 / NC ’22) is her second feature-length film, for which she wrote the script herself once more.
