In the wake of the release of their new sports cars – envisioned as the epitome of luxury – two rival car companies lose themselves in a spiral of destructive mutual industrial espionage. Their methods, ranging from bribery to extortion, reveal an abyss of inhumane greed. Yasuzo MASUMURA, one of the pioneers of the Japanese New Wave movement, devises a dark critique of the capitalist structures in Japanese society.
