Sho MIYAKE
三宅唱
Sho MIYAKE, 1984 in der Präfektur Hokkaido geboren, studierte Sozialwissenschaften an der Hitotsubashi University und absolvierte den Grundkurs für Spielfilme an der Film School of Tokyo. Sein erster Langspielfilm PLAYBACK wurde 2012 in den Wettbewerb des Locarno Film Festival eingeladen. Mit seinem Dokumentarfilm THE COCKPIT (2014 / NC ’15) gewann er den NIPPON VISIONS JURY AWARD. Seine Filme AND YOUR BIRD CAN SING (2018 / NC ’19), SMALL, SLOW BUT STEADY (2022 / NC ’22) und ALL THE LONG NIGHTS (2024 / NC ’24) waren im Programm der Berlinale vertreten.
