Workshop

Japanese Gin And Botanical Spirits

Nippon Connected   º

A Workshop With Yoshiko Ueno-Müller

Yuzu, Sansho and Matcha – their aromas awaken our longing for Japan. In addition to the art of sake brewing, the Japanese have also been cultivating shochu distillation for 400 years, the technique of which has been continually refined. Japanese gin is the trendy combination of Japanese botanicals and shochu. In this online tasting, Yoshiko Ueno-Müller, Director of the Sake & Shochu Academy Europe, will present the terroir, the production, and the Japanese flavors with six different samples from the AKAYANE distillery in Kagoshima.

Included in the tasting set:
6 samples of 20 ml in bottles (AKAYANE LXX, Sansho, Yuzu, Matcha, Gin Heart Natsu, and Fuyu)

Please note: Deadline for registration is June 1, 2020!
The gin set will be sent to you by mail. You will receive the access data for the zoom webinar by e-mail.

The workshop takes place online via Zoom.
