On Christmas Eve Kyuya NAKAGAWA takes a small documentary team to the streets of downtown Tokyo, where he meets artists and filmmakers of “jishu eiga”, Japanese independent films, who reflect upon the difficult situation of independent filmmakers today, being caught up between film projects and daily television work. A fascinating, as well as somber, yet hopeful glance towards the future of independent filmmaking.
