Jun’s life is still determined by his parents. Instead of going to university, he is supposed to take over their small bar. When they even forbid him to see his girlfriend Keiko, his built-up frustration explodes in drastic violence. Kazuhiko HASEGAWA’s visually stunning directorial debut is based on a real criminal case and radically illustrates the break with one’s parents.
