KUBI

Nippon Cinema   ª

Japan at the end of the 16th century: After a failed rebellion, the famous warlord Nobunaga seeks revenge. Whoever brings him the head of the rebellious Murashige will become his successor. With political intrigue, queer samurai, and rolling heads galore, Takeshi KITANO’s extravagant period film is a unique deconstruction of samurai myths.
