Coming Out Story

Itsuki, a transsexual math teacher at a public high school in Kyoto, takes a bold decision to undergo a sex-change operation. For a long time she had the wish to have a female body and has been following this desire more and more openly. This confronts her with the harsh reality of the transgendered. The documentary shows how Itsuki tries to investigate the roots of her identity through the relationships with her students and friends.
