Rintaro
Rintaro a.k.a. Shigeyuki HAYASHI, born in Tokyo in 1941, started at Toei Animation in 1958. In 1960, he moved to Osamu Tezuka's Mushi Productions, where he directed and was art director of Astro Boy and Kimba, among others. Since the 1970s, he has been considered one of the best TV anime directors, producing masterpieces such as GALAXY EXPRESS 999, THE BLADE OF KAMUI, PHOENIX and X: THE MOVIE.
