About Hayato KAWAI
河合勇人

Hayato KAWAI was born in Aichi Prefecture in 1969 and studied at Nihon University College of Art. He began his film career as an assistant director and made his feature film debut in 2008 with FLOWER SHADOW. His TV drama SUZUKI SENSEI (2011) received several awards. In 2017, his film LET’S GO, JETS! FROM SMALL TOWN GIRLS TU U.S. CHAMPIONS?! (2017) was shown at Nippon Connection. His series LAST ONE STANDING (2022) was a big success on Netflix.
